Good news! Alex has been moved to the ACTIVE list which means he is very close to getting his new kidney! Alex suffers from a rare genetic disorder that damaged his kidneys. Currently, he takes several medications and goes through about 10 hours of dialysis each night. He will undergo a transplant as soon as a suitable donor is found.We wish Alex and his family the best as they prepare for his surgery and recovery. We will announce his CaringBridge site as soon as it is set up for him.
